This soundtrack CD contains all the music featured in the movie Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi, otherwise known as Spirited Away. This wonderful arraw of pieces completely brings the movie to life - capturing the essences perfectly. Tradition music for the traditional styled Yuya bathhouse, the very tranquil The Sixth Station (Umi?) for the large ocean which forms when it rains and the list goes one for how well the pieces fit in with the movie.

More simply, the soundtrack is fantastic. From the sad and calm Day of the River (Ano hi no kawa he) to the dramatic Dragon Boy (Ryuu no Shounen) and the joyful reprise, it is a mixed bag of masterpieces. There is one vocal track, Always With Me (Itsumo nando-demo) sung by Youmi Kimura is played at the end of the movie at the credits and it reflects back very fittingly, with the translation in the booklet/leaflet.

If you liked the movie (you must be mad if you don't) and the music, you really should get this. You will get everything that you would expect and you will not be disappointed.

Pieces were performed by New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra.
