I purchase and listen to a lot of film scores and those composed by Alexandre Desplat always become favorates; new moon is no exception. The music on this album is stunning and really captures the mood of the book - all the tracks are good but a few in particular will take your breath away namely 'Romeo and Juliet', 'Edward leaves' and ' I need you'. I particularly love listening to it while reading and before I go to bed. The music here is gorgeous and yet more proof that film scores should be taken more seriously as classical music. Buy it, you won't be dissapointed

I cannot even describe how beautiful this music is. The music really carries you off, you become absorbed in it. I bought the New Moon soundtrack along with The Score, but this is the only CD I have really played since. Such multi-layed atmospheric music will appeal to both Twilight fans and people who enjoy soundtracks and orcehstral music in general.
